Solfie or Kana Aizawa (ソルフィ Sorufi[?], 哀沢 カナ Aizawa Kana) aka Solfy[2] is an original character by Guchiry, and protagonist of the song I feel so sad..
She's an online influencer who likes to hang out with people she met online.
Appearance[]
Solfie has short purplish black hair with a few strands of hair at the front and two long strands at the front with a light blue underside. She has neon blue or dark purple eyes; they are either blank, have circles in them, or have heart pupils that resemble Rushii's. Her appearance is baby-like, with her wearing a long neck white shirt with a yellow or pink cloud-shaped pull tab on the zipper. Over this she wears an oversized blue hoodie with a kangaroo pocket and two white stripes on the side. She wears white leg warmers with blue strips on the side and black shoes.
In I feel so sad., Solfie wears a cyan mob cap on her head, a hair accessorie of a wing, and the word "SAD". She also has a gauze pad taped on her nose and a wide bandage on her forehead. She wears various bows on her jumper, which she has three pink, red and yellow badges of paw prints with words on them on the left of. Over her jumper she has a plush animal with a zipper on the back with a chain on its head and bottom which Solfie wears. When online and in I feel so sad., she edits her hair light blue like the rest of her outfit.
In Stupid Liquid, Solfie wears a blue hairband with white ruffles, a wing accessory on her left instead of the right, and a blue bandaid on her face. Near the end, she is seen no longer wearing her hairband.
Personality[]
Solfie is addicted to the internet and tends to stop at nothing to satisfy her need of approval. She is known for making "extreme statements" on social media and does not think far ahead; this leads her to many unfortunate situations.[3] After Stupid Liquid, she becomes sad and shifts the blame of her actions onto others for not helping her[4], possibly from not being able to come to terms with what happened.
Relationships[]
KID[]
After Solfie catches KID's eye, they start a relationship; however, KID only thinks of Solfie as a woman for his own convenience and uses her.[3] When Solfie and Rushii get into arguments both online and in real life over KID in Stupid Liquid, KID watches from the sidelines and remarks cynically that "[being] at each other's throats again ... [is] all [Solfie and Rushii] know how to do". Later, KID breaks up with Solfie after taking advantage of her. Solfie is shocked and sad, but she continues making advances towards KID, even as KID insults and snaps at her as they argue. At the end of Stupid Liquid, Solfie falls to the ground and cries.
Rushii Kokuyoku[]
Solfie's relationship with Rushii is negative, with Rushii hating Solfie for trying to interact with KID. Rushii thinks of Solfie as a "strange prostitute" and has had fights with her both on social media and in real life[5]; this was due to Solfie hinting that she and KID were in a relationship, which escalated into an argument between her and Rushii. Their relationship after Stupid Liquid is unknown.
Etymology[]
The name Solfie doesn't hold any particular meaning.
Kana (カナ[?]) means nothing in particular in katakana, it has many variations in kanji such as 海那 meaning "that one sea", 泰 meaning "peacefulness" and 叶必 meaning "must be fulfilled".
Aizawa (哀沢[?]) means "sorrowful swamp".
