Etymology[]
Naro (奈朗[?]) doesn't possibly named after the term なろう系 (narō-kei), "A vague, derogatory label applied to isekai stories that have overdone, clichéd elements."

Story[]
Naro lived in a peaceful family from outside, but his fanatical interest in reincarnation led to him being bullied frequently at school. Due to how unhappy he was with his life, he commits suicide by jumping off the second floor of a building in hopes of reincarnation.[2]
He experiences many reincarnations. One of them in which he is a warrior who dies from The Demon King, another reincarnation shows him as a student once again. Upon seeing Jiro threatening Michiko, he fights him with a broom and wins. Naro then is shown standing at the rooftop after many reincarnations and thinks about how stupid his life has been even with the reincarnations. After this, he jumps off the building once again.
It is revealed that Naro had survived the first fall and had dreamed of the reincarnations for 7 days, almost ending up in a coma. Since then he developed an ability that allows him to dream about various things. While dreaming he is in a near coma state and doesn't wake up for a few days.[2]
It's possible he was also interviewed by the author of Conspiracy Theory.
Trivia[]
- In the MV, Naro's eye color changes from a cool purple to a warm purple upon entering reincarnation. It changes back to a cool purple when he falls off the school building a second time. This subtle change indicates whether he is in a reincarnation or not.
- Naro enjoys reading Jinsei Owatarou's light novels, and likely learned about other Guchiry characters, which appeared in his dream, through them.
- He apparently has a part-time job, as mentioned in Lunatic Game.
- Some lyrics in Fallin' Dead Relive Life and Falling, But Future Life imply that Naro is a Buddhist.
