Luchika (ルチカ Ruchika[?]) is the main protagonist of the song Vanish.
A young artist who soon becomes one of the victims of Carl.
Appearance[]

Luchika's full body reference drawn by Hima.
Luchika is a tall man with long, messy, white hair that reaches his hips and is cut unevenly. His bangs go past his eyes and crisscross each other and his hair bends inwards. His eyes are lavender colored and he bears a light burn over his right eye. He wears a dark grey poet blouse with flounce sleeves that cover most of his hands and long black pants. He is shown wearing a large black veil that reaches the floor with purple on the inside and floral decorations at the bottom. The black veil has a white transparent veil over it, which belongs to Dahlia from her wedding. His shoes are black and seem to be heels, though not high.
In a flashback with Dahlia and at the wedding, Luchika is shown without a scar and wearing a black turtleneck.
Personality[]
What Luchika was like before the fire is unknown. In the few flashbacks of Luchika's life, he was shown to be happy and satisfied with Dahlia by his side.
After Dahlia's death, he's shown to be an empty husk, wearing Dahlia's veil over his head constantly while still being haunted by the past as he destroys old photos of him and Dahlia and him staying in his room for all of Vanish. He is shown to be vulnerable in this state, with Carl easily convincing him that he has no future there, leading Luchika to happily kill himself.
He is a young artist who is has a subjective personality but is an introvert who's tough to understand.[2]
Etymology[]
Luchika (ルチカ Ruchika[?]) refers to the Italian word "luccica", meaning "to sparkle".
Story[]

Dahlia holds onto Luchika as they both smile.
Luchika was close with a girl named Dahlia whose actual connection with Luchika is unknown. One day Dahlia marries someone which leaves Luchika distraught. Soon a fire starts in the wedding, killing off Dahlia and leaving Luchika alone with Dahlia's veil hanging on his head. After the incident, Luchika spends the rest of his days sitting on his bed with a black veil on his head watching television, unable to cope with the incident.
One day, Luchika spots Carl at his window as a brighter world appears around him. He tells Luchika that "Ignorance and the like won’t work, there’s no future, no salvation, no meaning in this place." Luchika eventually gives in and commits suicide by burning his house down with a candle while holding a knife. Carl is shown at the end of the song in Luchika's home, smiling watching the news watching the news of Luchika's death.
Most likely, like the rest of the dead Midnight Ball characters, Luchika becomes a ghost but this is currently unconfirmed.
