Jiro Nito (二斗 次郎 Nito Jiro[?]), nicknamed "J" (Jiro) (ジロウ[?]) is an original character by Guchiry, and protagonist of the songs GREED, Deadly Rampage, and Nitro.
He is the leader of the Revolutionary Army, a student movement group. He caused a significant incident to enforce his own justice.
The Revolutionary Army was organized by "N" and him after realizing they had similar thoughts.
As of now, he is disregarded from the incident due to no trace of him there.[2]
Appearance[]
Jiro has short, light red messy hair and wears earrings on both his ears. He wears a huge jacket accompanied by an armband with the Revolutionary Army's symbol on it. Beneath the jacket is a black turtleneck and high waisted, baggy grey pants. His shoes have heels, though they aren't that high. He also wears a black band on both of his wrists.
Personality[]
Jiro has a very pessimistic outlook on the world, and hates many things about it. He has a very strong sense of justice as well. Despite his pessimism, he is also a kind person and was once considered "gentle-natured", helping people when they need it.[3] However, the way he was treated caused him to become more unhappy and foul-mouthed.
In Fallin' Dead Relive Life, Jiro is shown to be threatening Michiko with a knife; however, he ends up losing to Naro after a fight. However, the events of the song are not confirmed to be canon.
Relationships[]
Riko Maino[]
Jiro originally had a bad impression of Riko. They initially did not get along and fought a lot. However, eventually, they realized they were both similar and began to get along. They were close friends.
Jiro tended to refer to Riko as "Noriko", a nickname Riko would always correct. He did not stop using this nickname until when he was about to bomb the government building.[4]
Lopt[]
Jiro considers Lopt suspicious.[5] Despite this, he does not remove Lopt from the Revolutionary Army, allowing him to stay for unknown reasons.
Etymology[]
Jiro (次郎[?]) can be divided to Ji (次[?]) meaning "two" and ro (郎[?]) meaning "son".[6]
Nito (二斗[?]) can be divided to Ni (二[?]) meaning "two" and to (斗[?]) which is the unit of measurement for volume (18 litres). Overall his surname has no known meaning behind it.[7]
His nickname Jiro (ジロウ[?]) is the same as his real name, just written in katakana.
Story[]
Trivia[]
- Many of Jiro's ethics came from his parents, who taught him to dislike greed and to be warm-hearted.[8]
