Crowley's parents died during the Ten Year War, leaving him an orphan. He spent his days sitting in alleyways waiting for food rations. They were disturbed in an abandoned church that had originally served as an orphanage. He did his best to survive on one meal a day, which may or may not happen. As the time gone by it became rougher and rougher. But one day he was approached by a mysterious tall, long-haired woman called Astraea. She stopped by him and said something outrageous. She decided to raise him leading him to become the leader of the thus born Cult of the Abandoned City.[3][4]
