With the Everyone is Human. premiere out and sneak peaks on various characters I'll try to hypothesize who they are.

(Obviously I won't be talking about Mene and Miya)

Here's random images of speculation.

I think the plot would be overall about all the girls in the classroom with Iru singing in between. Then there would be some scenes about Iru herself possibly dealing with something, I don't know what it would be exactly though.

I may add more speculation tomorrow.

After my stagnant Cast a spell theorising I have come back to make a less cracky theory, but a random ship idea.

First off, Jun’s song Pure White Curse has a winter theme and Sat-chan’s Many loves sleep under the tree. has a spring theme. This may seem like a useless connection but don’t worry, I’m still cooking. The song Pure White Curse is about a guy walking around the streets coloured by dazzling lights and parks with a bench and trees during winter and being sad about not being with someone he loved. This can mirror locations in Many loves sleep under the tree. with the tree-lined street with the sunlight illuminating the place. Though the main theme of Many loves sleep under the tree. is spring, there are various lyrics talking about winter such as “The piled-up snow, the children frolicking, the Kamakura festival, the 2 of us alone” and “Melt away the blanket of snow and let life sprout. The prologue has just come to an end”. Obviously spring is representing rebirth and a new beginning and winter is just pure depression, however even with the spring and winter theme how can the song relate to each other?

In Many loves sleep under the tree., there are lyrics saying “The girl with tinted cheeks disappeared” and “Even if it's a story that will not be further continued…”, so it can be theorised that Sat-chan (as she’s a girl) left or had to move and had to leave behind her lover behind in the process. Her moving away matches with the Japanese children's song she’s based off, Satchan, which is about a small girl named Sachiko who moved away and the singer missing her and believing she will forget him. As Pure White Love is about Jun being upset with his love being gone, could it be Sat-chan the entire time? Since they sing about (vaguely) similar locations, have seasonal themes and have stories where a girl is missing from the picture and their love being unfulfilled I think this is possible.

With their main difference being that Sat-chan is able to move on as she believes that spring and the good times will come again in the impermanent world while Jun-kun couldn’t move on to the point love feels like a curse to him. So, since I am not that interested in ships, Sat-chan should come back to the town to kiss Jun so that Jun’s love would be rekindled again. While Sat-chan waves at him Jun will smile and wave back, only for her to walk backwards and fall on tracks and get run over by a train so that Jun will do Pure White Curse 2: Electric Boogaloo. That’s why Sat-chan and Jun should kiss.

As you can see in the horrible translation, old Mercedes either before her brother's death or when she joined Crowley's religion was obviously happier and didn't have any weird circles in her eyes.

Now in the present she does.

So what does the circles eyes mean? At first I thought it meant insanity or extreme obsession until I remembered, wait this is Guchiry, that applies to nearly all of the characters.

Maybe as Mercedes seem like one of the nicer and normal characters in the Guchiry universe, maybe it means suppressed insanity? Working at a c̶u̶l̶t̶ church with someone who looks like your dead brother must be exhausting and Mercedes tells Crowley that she would die for him, she prays for atonement for possibly for her brother's death, acknowledges that her prayers won't reach God but does anyways and ask for someone to shoot her in the chest in Mercedes' Confession, etc. She's sad like around half of the Guchiry cast but hides it behind a smile and is in charge to listening to other worshippers worries knowing that their praying may be fruitless.

Basically, I'm saying as Mercedes not showing her insanity much from the outside is one of the few things that makes her different from the rest of the non-spiral eye people must relate to her eyes and her soul is spiralling into madness or something. I know that sounds stupid, but her eyes must mean something if Guchiry literally had to draw it out!

I reflected on if other characters had circles in their eyes and immediately thought.

Doesn't really relate to the 'suppressed insanity' thing I preached though.

Also her eyes were mostly scribbled out grey in the MV until she did her Guchiry Breakdown™. To be honest, I don't understand Cast a Spell's meaning at all. I don't know if she's dead or a cat or why she's breaking down in the satan circle. But either way, it's not anything relating to repressed insanity. She's literally filming herself doing the murder ritual.

The reason she may have a circle in her eyes is just to show her breakdown better as her eyes are fully black/grey.

Another person with similar eyes is Iru!

At least in her right eye!

As we have barely any information on Iru, I can't really comment on her eyes other than the fact they're goddamn beautiful.

Does Iru have any suppressed insanity? Not really, she's seems open about her love for humans and love, as I learn from Orlando Furioso, is a form of insanity.

Would like to talk about Iru's eyes more, but overall, I don't know what Mercedes eyes mean. Maybe it is her spiralling into madness from the way Guchiry draws her in the golden paper or just a nice stylistic choice.

Most of us know who Jirou is. But do we anything know about his past? Because I think we might actually do. In Erica was laid to rest Music Video we see Erica (of course) and her childhood friend.

There's nothing particular about him at first. Just an ordinary boy. Sure maybe he has similar hairstyle to Jirou's, but that's not enough to prove anything.

But there's more. We know that Erica dies before the Ten Years War, which means that this boy's age would match Jirou's age. That's still not enough tho. After Erica dies and experiments are done on here she becomes an Angel we see in Bouquet say Good-bye.

I want you to take a close look at the bouquet she is holding (I couldn't find a better image sry). It may not seem familiar at first glance, but look what we see at the end of Nitro.

That's right it's the exact same one! That's the definitive proof that Jirou is the boy we see in Erica was laid to rest and confirms that Jirou and Erica knew each other since they were little.

I'm still researching everything about Erica. I just wanted to share with you an interesting discovery I made after listening to Nitro for the 999th time.
